Capital Sky prides itself on its efforts to protect the environment and promote sustainability throughout the construction industry.
For this reason, Capital Sky has developed a Sustainable Procurement Policy, which establishes how we – together with our valued supply chain – will influence the procurement choices of materials, goods, works, and services. These choices will be guided by their contribution to reducing the consumption of primary resources and by prioritising materials with fewer negative impacts on the environment.
By upholding this commitment, we aim to protect natural resources, improve resource efficiency, and reduce waste across our operations, lessening our environmental impact while securing the financial sustainability of our business.
Capital Sky’s proactive approach to sustainable procurement aligns with the principles outlined in BS 8903:2010 (Principles and Framework for Procuring Sustainably) and BES 6001 (Framework Standard for the Responsible Sourcing of Construction Products).
Capital Sky is committed to using only materials where the origin and sourcing relationships can be verified. Accordingly, suppliers and production sites must hold an independently audited and internationally recognised standard relevant to their products or be able to produce evidence of equivalent responsible practices.
