At Capital Sky, creating safe working environments has always been, and will always be a fundamental part of how we deliver our projects. As our work continues to evolve, so too does the way we approach safety on site, by making sure our teams have access to the very best equipment and working practices available.
That’s why we’ve partnered with Star Platforms to introduce Mobile Elevating Work Platforms (MEWPs) across our sites where they are the most appropriate solution.
By reducing the need for more traditional access methods in certain situations, MEWPs can help improve safety, support efficiency and provide a more practical way for our teams to carry out their work.
This partnership is another positive step in our ongoing commitment to investing in safer ways of working, by looking for opportunities to reduce risk, improve working conditions and support the people who make every project possible.
While our partnership with Star Platforms is built on a shared commitment to improving safety, it also reflects a wider local commitment in the Bedfordshire area. Alongside our work on site, we’ve been pleased to support local charitable initiatives together, including the recent Fiddles, Flutes and Cowboy Boots Festival, held on 4 July at Stockwood Rugby Club. Bringing businesses and communities together in support of good causes is something we’re proud to be part of, and we look forward to continuing those efforts alongside our work across the region.
And finally, we’d like to thank the team at Star Platforms for their continued collaboration, both on site and in the community. Together, we’re committed to creating safer workplaces while supporting the people and places that make our projects possible.
