As an ambassador for ICAP (Irish Counselling and Psychotherapy), Capital Sky Ltd attended a special reception and dinner at the Embassy of Ireland last night to celebrate the organisation’s 30th anniversary and its vital contribution to supporting the mental health and wellbeing of Irish communities across the United Kingdom.
Hosted by the Ambassador of Ireland and attended by leaders from across the business, charitable and public sectors, the event provided an opportunity to reflect on three decades of meaningful impact and to recognise the importance of accessible, culturally sensitive mental health services.
Over the past 30 years, ICAP has established itself as a trusted provider of counselling and psychotherapy services, helping thousands of individuals and families navigate personal challenges through professional support and community engagement. Its work continues to address a critical need, ensuring that mental health services remain accessible to those who may otherwise face barriers to care.
The evening brought together a diverse group of people who share a commitment to strengthening communities and supporting positive social outcomes. Through a series of speeches and discussions, guests heard about the organisation’s achievements, future ambitions, and the importance of sustained support for mental health initiatives.
A key focus of the celebration was ICAP’s “30 for 30” campaign, which aims to create long-term funding stability through regular giving. The initiative reflects the organisation’s forward-thinking approach to ensuring that essential services remain available to those who need them most.
As ICAP enters its fourth decade, its commitment to supporting mental health within the Irish community remains as relevant as ever. Capital Sky Ltd extends its sincerest congratulations to the entire ICAP team on this significant milestone and wishes the organisation continued success in the years ahead.
We would also like to thank the Embassy of Ireland for hosting such a memorable occasion and for recognising the importance of organisations that contribute so positively to community wellbeing.
