Capital Sky was delighted to welcome members of the Mayo Gaelic football team to site following their historic All-Ireland Senior Football Championship victory.
The visit was made even more special by the arrival of the iconic Sam Maguire Cup, giving the Capital Sky team a unique opportunity to celebrate an incredible achievement and share in a memorable moment for Mayo GAA.
For Capital Sky, the occasion carried a particularly strong personal connection. The business has a rich Irish heritage, with CEO Martin Maloney originally from County Mayo, alongside many other members of the Capital Sky team who share close ties with the county and with Ireland.
Welcoming the Mayo team to site therefore felt like a true celebration of both sporting success and shared heritage. Colleagues had the chance to meet members of the team, see the Sam Maguire Cup up close and come together to mark an achievement that means so much to Mayo people across Ireland, the UK and further afield.
Mayo’s success is also a fitting reflection of many of the values we hold strongly at Capital Sky. Teamwork, determination, resilience and a shared commitment to achieving a goal are just as important within our business and on our sites as they are on the football pitch.
The visit created a fantastic atmosphere across the site and offered our team the chance to step away from the working day and enjoy a genuinely special occasion together. For those with Mayo connections in particular, seeing the Sam Maguire Cup at Capital Sky was a proud and memorable moment.
