Capital Sky was delighted to take part in the London Mayo Golf Society Gold Day at Mill Hill Golf Club, enjoying a fantastic day of golf, friendly competition and good company.
Organised by the London Mayo Golf Society, the event brought together members of the Mayo Golf Society, Mayo Association London and Cáirde Mhaigheo London for a day on the course, followed by an evening celebration.
For the Capital Sky team it was a welcome opportunity to step away from the office and enjoy some time on the fairways, alongside fellow golfers and members of the wider Mayo community. There was plenty of competitive spirit, good conversation and, of course, a few memorable shots along the way.
A particular highlight was the opportunity to welcome members of the recently crowned 2026 All-Ireland Football Champions, Mayo, with players joining golfers across the event and helping to make the occasion even more special.
The Sam Maguire Cup was also in attendance, giving everyone there the chance to see one of the most iconic trophies in Irish sport up close and celebrate Mayo’s remarkable All-Ireland success. It’s not every day you get to share a golf course with All-Ireland champions or find the Sam Maguire Cup at the clubhouse, and their presence added something very special to an already enjoyable day.
A big thank you to the London Mayo Golf Society for organising such an enjoyable Gold Day, and to everyone who took part and helped make the event such a memorable occasion. And, of course, congratulations once again to Mayo on being crowned 2026 All-Ireland Football Champions.
It was an absolute pleasure to celebrate their achievement and to see the Sam Maguire Cup in attendance at what was a fantastic day at Mill Hill Golf Club for everyone involved.
