Danehill
The Danehill project involved the remediation and redevelopment of an industrial warehouse site in Reading to deliver a high-quality logistics unit for Amazon.
Capital Sky were responsible for the complete project management and delivery of the scheme, working on behalf of Vengrove, who were delivering the project for American International Group (AIG), a major institutional investor.
The works focused on resolving significant slab failure issues and implementing a new structural foundation solution to bring the asset up to operational standard.

Scope of works
- Complete project management and end-to-end delivery of the scheme
- Full design and architectural coordination, including consultant management and design development
- Investigation and breakout of defective concrete slab
- Ground investigation and remediation works
- Formation of piling mat and enabling works
- Installation of piled foundations
- Construction of reinforced pile caps
- Installation of new reinforced concrete slab floor
- Full warehouse fit-out, including internal finishes and operational readiness
- Coordination of all subcontractors, suppliers, and stakeholders
